It’s only been six months since I started working for Avandor and the time came for me to switch again. I won’t go into the details of this, but it was a mix of conflicting values and business development strategies that turned me off quicker than I expected. Despite that, I still think that Avandor is a great product that has a great potential and I’m looking forward to putting it to use in my new role.
As for my new assignment, in mid December 2015, I took on the role of Chief Digital Officer for Burda Romania with the objective to revamp the entire digital activity and grow the digital business to a level worthy of the international name of Burda International.
This assignment brings me back into the world of web technologies where I can blend my digital technology skills together with my online marketing experience in order to grow a portfolio of editorial brands as digital products on the local market.
Wish me luck, it will be a tough nut to crack, but the opportunities for interesting projects are countless.
